Did you know Boyertown's only bookstore is turning 10 this month?! The Book Nook in Boyertown opened up in 2011 by local Boyertown residents, Holly and James Wood.
They accept used books, audiobooks & DVDs for trade credit on an appointment basis.
The Book Nook accepts titles they have less than 3 in stock, in a condition they deem suitable for resale and feel will sell. There are literally thousands of books in stock in over 30 categories! They also carry a selection of new books as well.
Can't make it to the brick & mortar store? The Book Nook sells some of their titles on their website. If you can't find what you are looking for online, use the search offline function and they can see if they have it in stock. Shipping is only $4 no matter how many books you order!
Currently they are running an anniversary promotion, 20% off your entire purchase the entire month of April and also a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the store. Now would be a great time to stock up on books for all your summer reading!
Interested in bringing books to the Book Nook? Here's how their trade-ins work.
PAPERBACKS: Earn 25% of the lowest cover price.
HARDCOVER: Earn $1.00 each for newer and non-fiction titles less than 2 years old.
They do not give credit for any titles we sell for $1 or less.
AUDIOBOOKS: Earn 10% of the lowest cover price.
DVDs: Earn $1.00 each.
Use your credit balance toward up to 50% of your used book and DVD purchases and up to 10% off new book purchases. Cannot be used for online purchases. May not exchange trade credit for cash.
They ask that you bring no more than 1 box of books to trade in per visit.
All trade-ins must be in good condition. They also accept donations.
The Book Nook reserves the right to refuse any trade or donation for any reason.
