The mission of the Home Garden Contest is to encourage and support gardening for both beginners and experienced gardeners, as this contributes to the physical and mental health of residents and promotes a sense of community among borough residents. It is open to all homeowners and renters in the boroughs of Boyertown and Pottstown. There are five categories to choose from including the Young Gardener, Outdoor Oasis, General Garden, Pleasant Porch, and Vegetable Garden!

Boyertown’s Oktoberfest is here and better than ever! This annual event includes a 5k run, crafters, artists, German entertainment & music, German beer, local beer and wine, food vendors, entertainment & more. The Keg Ceremony is held Saturday at 11 am. We invite you to check the event website for the full schedule, beer and wine list, and food choices.
Oktoberfest is family friendly and free to attend. $5 wristband for entry to beer garden.

Pickfest Music / Art and Agriculture Crawl, expanded out of the Frecon Orchards’ Pickfest that originally took place in the Orchards, providing pick related Americana Music while families picked their own fruit. In 2015 Pickfest was brought to downtown Boyertown and has now expanded to include many of the local merchants. Our goal is to provide exposure to and educate individuals on the rich heritage, historic significance and talented artists of the area and throughout the country.

Join Building A Better Boyertown for Santa’s arrival to Chillin’ on Main on the first Saturday in December! Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their friends will be arriving on East Philadelphia Avenue at 11 am. Listen for the train whistle and join us in welcoming Santa as he arrives from the North Pole via the Colebrookdale Railroad to be dropped off right on East Philadelphia Avenue. Enjoy a day of family activities and do a little Christmas shopping! Be sure to come early to get in line for your visit with Santa and receive a free 4” x 6” color photograph compliments of Building A Better Boyertown. Don’t miss Santa’s workshop, games, crafts, and activities provided by participating local businesses and non-profits on your favorite Main Street.
