Beary Loved: A Valentine's Stroll Through Boyertown

Come enjoy a beary-loving afternoon in downtown Boyertown - plenty of time to enjoy brunch before or dinner after on this romantic and fun date! There will be musical performers and dancers stationed throughout the streets as well as DIY bouquets, streetside poetry, couple caricatures and silhouettes, Lover’s Lane and Tunnel of Love photo opportunities and experiences, a pop-up bar called Love Potion No. 9 in the rail yard, gifts for that special someone in our shops, and restaurants to sit across from the person you love before seeing a movie at The State. Take a stroll through Boyertown for Valentine’s Day and show your significant other everything a card can’t say.


Coming Out of Hibernation

Celebrate the arrival of spring and the end of hibernation with this fun-filled event for
the entire family! Visitors of all ages can enjoy a stroll down Philadelphia Avenue which
will be lined with craft vendors featuring honey, mead, flowers, and much more. A
variety of food vendors will also be joining us, so bring your appetite! Local businesses
and nonprofits will also be offering a variety of games, crafts, and activities for children
and their families to enjoy. Children and their families can make a kite or purchase a kit
to take home and adult visitors can enjoy the Bears & Bees Bar featuring spring cocktails and mead.

The mission of the Home Garden Contest is to encourage and support gardening for both beginners and experienced gardeners, as this contributes to the physical and mental health of residents and promotes a sense of community among borough residents. It is open to all homeowners and renters in the boroughs of Boyertown and Pottstown. There are five categories to choose from including the Young Gardener, Outdoor Oasis, General Garden, Pleasant Porch, and Vegetable Garden!

Boyertown Day Featuring Casket Races & 20th Anniversary Celebration

We are so excited to announce our new annual event, Boyertown Day Featuring Casket Races & the 20th Anniversary Celebration. This event will celebrate everything that makes Boyertown unique – from bears to casket races and will also commemorate BaBB’s 20th anniversary. In addition to an exciting casket race, visitors will also find craft and food vendors lining E. Philadelphia Avenue. Local businesses and nonprofits will also be offering a variety of games, crafts, and activities for children and their families to enjoy. We will also be hosting a Roaring 20s Dinner at Brakeman’s Cafe from 6-9pm.

Oktoberfest Tasting Preview

The Oktoberfest Tasting Preview is back for its second year! This will be an indoor/outdoor event under a tent and attendees will sample beers that will be available for purchase at the weekend’s Oktoberfest event. They will be paired with German-themed appetizers. A bratwurst dinner will also be available for purchase. This is a ticketed event.

Participants will enjoy a family-friendly, German and fall-themed event, including beer, delicious food, music and entertainment, and a variety of craft vendors. Each year this event draws approximately 5,000-8,000 attendees and continues to grow in popularity. Oktoberfest is free to attend and welcomes families of all ages. There will be activities for children and adults alike!

craft and gift vendors, local businesses and non-profits will be offering a variety of
games, crafts, and activities for children and their families to enjoy. Of course, keep your
eye out for the big guy in red! Santa and Mrs. Claus will happily pose for photographs
with their adoring fans.
