We visited for my husbands birthday at the weekend. You can’t beat the location it’s minutes from the Colebrook Dale rail road (which was fantastic) it’s a self check in hotel but communication in advance with the owner by email was excellent and very responsive. The Inn was very quiet. We hardly noticed any other guests. There’s a kitchen stocked with water a few sodas. Biscuits and tea/ coffee. Our room was stunning. The bed was so comfortable. We stayed in the Nittany suite and there was air conditioning and a smart TV. Only thing is you can’t see the TV from the bed but there’s a beautiful lounge/ seating area. The suite had beautiful Ralph Lauren chunky robes and plenty of towels. The water was hot and there’s a little fridge and coffee machine. You can nip down to the kitchen for more supplies if you need like coffee pods. Only one thing I would add is maybe a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. Those little milk sachets don’t last long and I was conscious to take too many from the main kitchen as there was other guests. The little town is charming and everything is walking distance. There’s no breakfast on a morning but we went to a little cafe before we left. The communal rooms are clean and welcoming. We watched the Knick’s game in the sitting room while playing chess which was lovely.
