If you like historic vehicles, have I found the place for you!! The building itself started as a carriage factory in the 1870s later becoming a truck body shop. Many of the vehicles on display here were actually built here or have passed through the building at some point. And the vehicles themselves? They have some historic gems here. The oldest vehicle is a sleigh from 1763. The majority of stuff here is from 1900 to around 1950 and include oddball manufacturers. The cars are in various conditions, some appear to be freshly pulled from a barn to others that look showroom new. As if all that wasn't cool enough, you can walk around and stick your head inside all the vehicles. Of course you can't touch anything. That's the hardest part! You'll just want to hop inside these awesome old cars and go for a cruise! Keep your hands to yourself because the next car is cooler then the last! OH! Don't forget the carriage shop with the working blacksmith! They've also got an old diner and an old gas station inside. And apparently you can have a party here too because they were setting one up while we were there. Give yourself a couple of hours to stroll through here. There is a lot of reading and time will fly past you as you wander around thinking about what it must have been like to drive or work out of these amazing vehicles. This is the kind of place that if it was closer to my home, I'd volunteer as often as possible. And I don't volunteer for anything. It's just that cool.
