The Colebrookdale Railroad excursion is a wonderful experience, it brings the past to life with beautiful countryside views on a wonderfully, meticulously restored train. This Railroad with its beautiful grounds, quaint coffee shop, and it’s ice cream shop is nestled down and tucked in the downtown of Boyertown, PA. This was my first excursion with this company and it was a remarkable time on a Friday afternoon. From the time I entered the dining car(where my meal was served)and was greeted by Renate, and such a charming conversation, to Amy taking my a la carta order, wonderful conversation there as well. All of that just made for the best first train excursion day ever. Carol, awesome talking to you as well and happy I had you smiling..😉(you know what we talked about). If it’s just for something to do for a fun day out or if you’re a train enthusiast or a history buff, it’s great for everyone. The Colebrookdale Railroad offers different themes during the fall during Christmas time during the summer. There is a dining car where you can enjoy your meal and you take in the lovely views. There are other cars on the train, open air car to stand and see the scenery as the train is slowly moving down the tracks, the Diplomat and the Parlor car. Certain cars allow food to be served. Either way it is a great trip to take for just yourself or for the whole family. It is truly a wonderful experience.
