Had a wonderful dinner and ride Saturday evening. The food was wonderful and the servers, conductors, and musician were friendly and accommodating. The meal started with a salad and yummy garlic roll. I opted to purchase a glass of Chardonnay which was very good. Salad course was followed by the main course. I chose eggplant Parmesan that was served with ziti. The serving of eggplant was huge and delicious!! Dessert was cheesecake with chocolate sauce drizzled on top. After dinner, I walked out onto the open car that was decorated for the fall. The ride was about two hours total. While I was enjoying the ride in the Beaver dinner car, my husband was riding in the engine! This was also a fun experience. Highly recommend these to things for anyone that enjoys trains.
