The staff at Colebrookdale Railroad went above and beyond to ensure my family was accommodated. Our entire family got sick and we were promptly rescheduled, they even so kindly waived the rescheduling fee for us. Yesterday night was our train ride, it wasn’t until we were about to leave to head to Colebrookdale that we realized it was nearly 2 hours away, I knew the area and thought it was closer but my miscalculations combined with traffic caused us to make a mad dash to try and make it in time, we arrived about 5 minutes late and they were waiting for us specifically, I probably would have cried if the train left (fault of my own) but they held up for us and made sure we weren’t rushing unsafely by running. We were not made to feel bad for the tardiness, we still received kind and warm treatment. The train was intricately decorated, clean and comfortable. This was a beautiful way to kick off our family’s first Christmas together and Colebrookdale Railroad made it that much more special. We will be back next year!! (and on time haha)
