I booked a dinner meal for 2 on the Beaver Car for a 2 hour trip thru the Secret Valley. It was AMAZING!!! My husband and I cannot wait to go again! We both had Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and Broccoli, which alfredo sauce isn’t always made right, but their’s was perfect! The meal started with a small salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing (which I normally am not a fan of, but it was very good) and roll, which had butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese and oregano on top of it. It finished with dessert which was your choice of either Chocolate Mousse, Cheesecake, or Carrot Cake! My husband is type 1 diabetic and they did provide him with a fresh fruit plate for dessert instead of the other choices; I did need to request this at the time I purchased the tickets; but they had it all ready to go for us at dessert time. They do have alcoholic beverages available for an additional cost, but water, coffee, and hot tea are included with your meal for no additional charge. You are not required to tip the wait staff; but I didn’t feel right not tipping them. All staff members were friendly, helpful, and polite. You were permitted and encouraged to explore the other train cars after dinner. The restoration done on the train cars is phenomenal, and makes the whole experience even better! The cars are air conditioned during the summer and heated in the winter. I highly recommend checking it out; you won’t be disappointed!!!!
