What a fantastic time this was! We dined in the Lounge Car (Maine Central) which we thought was the most beautiful one offered. Service was fantastic with a quick preboarding announcement in the station, followed by conductors showing us where to go for our particular reservation. Our car had two attendants who were very sweet and attentive. The food was good, dessert was excellent. The whole trip flowed well from start to finish. It was (with the windchill) about -10 the day of our trip so the toilets on the train were frozen haha. But they gave us multiple warnings about this so we could use the ones at the station and since the excursion was only 2 hours it wasn't a big deal. We will definitely be back!
