Did you know on the main street of Boyertown, Philadelphia Ave, we have a wizard of sorts? Monique Becker owns Becker Home. She offers a variety of interior design services from Holistic Interior Design, to custom window treatments, to upholstery. Her designs are effortless and beautiful and her draping skills are nothing short of wizardry!
Recently I stopped into the store front she shares with the retail store, Happy Zen Mama. If you head towards the back you will see Monique's studio, lined with sewing machines and bolts of fabric. Somewhere on her tool wall is her magic wand, I just haven't found it yet!
Monique was working on deconstructing this 1960's children's rocker. This rocker belonged to her client as a child. The client now wanted to breath new life into it and pass the chair down to their grandchildren for them to start their own. memories. Such a great transformation!
