Inspired by Audubon’s statement on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Studio B would like to honor John James Audubon Center with the theme of BIRDS. They invited artists to submit fine art about this simple and open theme. Anything involving the idea of BIRDS, including but not limited to, flight, feathers, eggs, wings, character of such, anything remotely birdy. This is a show of works in all media and any genre of art.
The "BIRDS" exhibit runs through June 20, 2021. The “Birds” exhibition is free and open to the public; all COVID safety protocol will be observed during the in-person gatherings.
A virtual opening on Facebook LIVE will run March 26th when awards are announced and a brief video tour of the exhibit will showcase the artwork.
The National Audubon Society is an American non-profit environmental organization dedicated to conservation of birds and their habitat.
The exhibit’s “Best in Show” prize award is sponsored through the generosity of The Victory Bank, Limerick; Additional awards are offered by Richard A. Zuber Realty, Morgan Financial, TriCounty Area Federal Credit Union, and the Boyertown Community Library. Winners will also show case their works at the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove in Audubon, Pa.
